The name has been around for dozens of years, but the place sat vacant until Dallas caterer Eddie Deen opened a restaurant. The menu is limited, but his son Brent is a capable pit master. Order the Cool Hand Luke, a picture-perfect mix of sliced brisket, ribs, and hot links, served in a basket lined with red and white checkered paper.
