Profile
Cute boys in Western shirts and Brad Oldham-designed belt buckles serve tongue-in-cheek, Texas-inspired Frito pie made with chunks of venison, salmon with a honey-lavender glaze, and chicken-fried hanger steak. The spin-off in Fort Worth seems right at home in Cowtown, with its trademark witty twist on the cowboy motif. Like the Dallas branch, it has the signature hot, salty fries in a cattle-branded box, but FW also has a Daily Skillet—a one-pot comfort dish such as shepherd’s pie—and a brunch that runs until 2 PM on weekends.
