Interior design duo William “Ty” Burks and Christopher Ridolfi had dreamed of opening a store since moving to Dallas 10 years ago. So when a spot on Henderson Avenue opened up, the stars aligned, angels sang, and they signed on the dotted line. William-Christopher Design carries a number of gorgeous goodies, such as antiques, furniture of their own design, and a wide range of home accessories and gifts. Think Indian-inspired linens by John Robshaw and royal family favorite True Grace candles from London. We especially love the pieces created by Burks and Ridolfi, all designed around antique items like Chinese tiles or carved hardware. But good taste comes at a price. A set of berry-colored Chinese Chippendale chairs caught our eye—until we saw the price tag. Happily, the dynamic design duo populates its shop with more affordable, one-of-a-kind gifts such as vintage bronze bookends and Pascaline Jourdain porcelains.
