Kristen Radakovich had London on her mind when she opened this seasonal shoe salon with highly personalized service. After living there with her former English husband, she discovered that Europeans had a different, more intimate way of shopping, and she pined to re-create that experience in her adopted hometown. Radokovich, who knows just about every customer by name, opens her doors just a couple of months every spring and fall to showcase the best of what’s she’s bought for the season. Names like LDTuttle, Barbara Bui, Rupert Sanderson, and Diana Broussard are exclusive to this shop and cannot be found anywhere else in the city. The storefront isn’t visible from the street, but it’s worth the extra effort to find this stairway to shoe heaven. You can thank us later.
