Curtis Wilson began his specialized moving and storage business in 1979 after handling a valuable chandelier for a friend. Recognizing that there were unmet needs in the high-end home furnishings market, he gradually developed a full-service company capable of moving and storing the finest furniture, art, crystal, and other valuable household possessions. In December 2003, Wilson closed the business, but soon the doors were reopened by Jamie Furrate. Property is bar-coded and stored on vertical racks in a carefully monitored, climate- and humidity-controlled environment. A quick phone call is all it takes to have an item pulled—even if it’s a circa 1850 grand piano.
