Dr. Trenton Custis is a board certified dermatologist who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. Dr. Custis is fellowship trained in Mohs Micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology, and is an expert in cosmetic dermatology with advanced fellowship training in laser surgery, neuromodulators, ablative lasers, and cosmetic dermal fillers for soft tissue augmentation.
Raised a few minutes from Mt. Rushmore, Dr. Custis began his education path at The University of South Dakota, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Chemistry. He earned his Medical Degree from the UCLA School of Medicine where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After finishing his internship, Dr. Custis completed his Dermatology residency at UCLA.
Dr. Custis went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, cosmetic and laser dermatology at The University of California at Davis, under the tutelage of Drs. Daniel Eisen, Thomas King, and Suzanne Kilmer. Dr. Custis is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications. His research interests include skin cancer and post-surgical outcomes following Mohs micrographic surgery.
Dr. Custis is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has lectured extensively and served as an instructor at numerous professional societies including the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Pacific Dermatologic Association, and the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatologic Society.
