Timothy Gong, MD is board certified and specializes in the treatment of patients with advanced heart failure. His clinical interests include ventricular assist devices and cardiac transplant. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Gong earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his internship and residency at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine where he was awarded the Dr. Thomas Dooley Memorial International Elective Scholarship for his work in Chengdu, China serving people affected by the 2008 earthquake. He is fellowship trained in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Gong is on the medical staff at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital. In addition to his clinical practice, he is currently serving as a co-primary investigator in multiple clinical trials related to his field.
