Phillip E. Hansen, MD, specializes in treating disorders of the shoulder, elbow and hand. His practice includes sports injuries, rehabilitation, arthroscopy, arthritis surgery, trauma and fractures,nerve injuries including carpal tunnel syndrome, joint replacement surgery and other causes of pain or loss of arm function.
Dr. Hansen is fellowship-trained in shoulder, as well as elbow and hand surgery. He has been with Orthopedic Associates of Dallas since 1984, is board certified in orthopedic surgery and holds a special certificate for the practice of hand surgery granted based upon practice experience and certification examination. A member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society for more than 20 years, he has been an active member of the North Texas Arthritis Foundation and served as chairman of the Medical and Scientific Committee forseveral years, helping to direct research dollars here in Dallas and nationwide.
