Jissy R. Philip, DO, MS, is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for primary care and is deeply invested in establishing long-term relationships with her patients. She emphasizes preventive medicine, health education, and giving patients the knowledge and resources they need to improve their health and well-being. Dr. Philip holds additional interests in adolescent medicine, geriatrics, mental health, and complex medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. As an osteopathic provider, she is particularly interested in how musculoskeletal issues may be affecting their overall health and can provide full-body pain relief using Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
With a Master’s in Neuroscience & Cognition from University of Texas at Dallas, Dr. Philip earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She went on to complete her Family Medicine Residency at Danville Regional Medical Center in Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident.
After almost a decade, Dr. Philip is happy to return home to Dallas where she now lives with her husband and to practice medicine in the community she grew up in. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, DIY projects, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
