Dr. Dorette Noorhasan is the medical director and co-founder of CCRM Dallas-Fort Worth. She is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Noorhasan grew up in the United States Virgin Islands and graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Virgin Islands. She received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she completed medical missions to Guatemala and Mexico (she is conversant in Spanish). She undertook residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas, Houston, and completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Noorhasan has been published in numerous journals and has received numerous awards over the course of her career, including Texas Monthly Top Doctors, Mom-Approved Doctors, Collin County Top Doctors, D magazine Top Doctors and Castle Connolly Top Doctors Exceptional Women in Medicine. She believes in providing individualized compassionate care to her patients. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her patients’ faces light up when they present for their first obstetrical ultrasound.
Dr. Noorhasan truly understands what it is like to walk in her patients’ shoes. She has personally done five IVF cycles to ultimately create an embryo that was eventually transferred to a surrogate. Because of her surrogate’s kindness, she has also been able to experience parenthood, something she once thought was unattainable.
“It’s because of my surrogate’s kindness, that I am a mother today,” remarks Dr. Noorhasan. Her experience with infertility, has shaped her approach as a doctor to ensure that her patients feel supported through every step of their fertility journey.

The path to parenthood may not be how we had always dreamt it should be, but having a child and being able to give love to a child is one of the greatest gifts”.
