Dr. Christopher Chun is a fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist who truly believes in a patient-centered approach to treating chronic pain. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and an ACGME accredited interventional pain management fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, Ca., where the focus of patient care was based on a philosophy of “whole person care”. He is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. He utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach in managing a patient’s pain.
After his fellowship, he returned to North Texas to start the Huguley Center for Pain Management, where he served the patients of Tarrant and Johnson Counties until he joined SpineCARE.
In addition to his work with SpineCARE, Dr. Chun is also the medical director of NuLife Clinic, a rejuvenation center that offers hormone replacement therapy for chronic pain patients. Dr. Chun is a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Texas Pain Society, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society. He is well trained and experienced in interventional pain procedures for all types of spinal disorders including injections, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation. He also serves as a resource and consultant to other physicians in Texas and across the country regarding cutting-edge pain procedures.
