Dr. Mitch McKnight was born and raised in Dallas and attended the University of Texas at Austin where he majored in Biology. After college, he completed his dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry and received multiple awards in the areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, TMJ treatment, dental implantology, and research.
Dr. McKnight moved to New York City to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training, later earning his medical degree at New York Medical College.
Dr. McKnight has exceptional experience in treating trauma, corrective jaw surgery, wisdom tooth removal, and total TMJ reconstruction. He has used his skills on many medical trips to Guatemala, his grandparents' native country. He currently serves on a surgical committee for a hospital based in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala.
Outside of surgery, Dr. McKnight enjoys sports, being active outdoors, and traveling with his wife and children.
