The Free Man

Bringing in people from all corners of Dallas to enjoy Cajun fare, The Free Man also doubles as a music venue. Live performances happen seven days a week and feature jazz bands and local talent. (It’s a nice break from the top 40 and electronic tunes everywhere else.) Be careful after hours. The drinks are delicious, but the bartenders are busy. Catch them when you can, and order something from the specialty cocktail menu inspired by hurricanes and Southern whiskey concoctions. Settle into a cozy red table, and order the crab-stuffed jalapenos if you get hungry. They’re delicious.

Let this business know you found them on D Magazine's Online Directories.
