Originally a Gold Class Cinema outfit, iPic took over in 2010, renovated the theater’s already upscale accommodations, and, a few months later, reopened at a more affordable price point. iPic aims to provide moviegoers with what the company calls “the ultimate escape”: a comfy lobby bar, full-service in-theater dining (with menu options from tuna wanton crisps to short rib sliders), and a state-of-the-art digital projection system. Using the theater’s online ticketing option, you can even reserve a premium recliner with a pillow and blanket. A tad expensive for a family outing, perhaps, but just about perfect for a dinner-and-a-movie date.
