Gallery 414 is an alternative and noncommercial art space located inside a house near the Fort Worth museum district. The gallery held its first exhibition in September 1995, a month-long group show featuring the works of a number of local artists. Since then, dozens of exhibits have come through 414’s doors, bringing paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, and mixed-media artwork. Gallery 414 hosts six or seven exhibits in each year that, on average, last for five to six weeks each. Most shows feature works from two or more artists, though solo exhibitions are presented on occasion.
