We love breakfast here, but a recent lunch dulled our enthusiasm for this popular diner. Roasted chicken was too dry to chew. A grilled sandwich with a thick stack of Tillamook sharp and Brazos Valley cheddar was delivered with unmelted cheese. The chicken-fried steak would have been fine if it hadn’t been salted beyond recognition. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen, but it was a worse afternoon for our stomachs.
