This chain began in 2006 as a lowly food trailer in South Austin. The tacos are pricey ($3.25 to $4 each) but huge. Chips and dips are extra, but the green chile queso may be the best in town. Try the Democrat (slow-simmered shredded beef, onions, avocado, cilantro, and feta on a corn tortilla), the Baja Shrimp (fried shrimp, cabbage slaw, feta, pickled onions, and jalapeños slathered with chipotle sauce), and the Dirty Sanchez (a mosh pit of eggs, guacamole, Jack and cheddar cheese, and fried poblano pepper covered with poblano ranch dressing).
