Mark Raskin is a senior loan officer and area manager at PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company. In his role as an area manager, he is responsible for leading a successful group of retail mortgage branches in Texas including hiring, training, and coaching seasoned retail loan originators. He assists clients with conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and home equity loans among others.

In addition to his day to day responsibilities, Raskin serves on the board of directors for the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association, as well as serving on the national Mortgage Bankers Association’s recent Regulation Z Comment Task Force Committee. He was also chosen to represent Texas in the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Future Mortgage Leader’s program. Raskin received a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from the University of Tulsa, along with a master’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Raskin speaks on various topics, including real estate finance, credit scoring, fraud and identity theft, relationship management, as well as current regulatory/legislative topics. A native of Dallas, he lives in Plano with his wife Lisa and their children, Lauren and Jared, and their dog Maverick.
