Besides prosecuting cell phone cases, Todd is safety crusader who speaks pro bono for the National Safety Council and the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration at seminars throughout the country. His safety mission has been featured in the Dallas Morning News, in the Washington Post and on the NBC Nightly News with Kate Snow.

Todd’s work in the Ethan Couch Affluenza case culminated in a 20/20 episode titled “A Case of Affluenza” that helped raise public awareness in the case and ultimately led to justice for the victims by Ethan Couch being jailed for two years.   After Ethan Couch and his mother fled to Mexico and eventually returned, Todd spoke on behalf of the victims during interviews with CNN, Fox & Friends, the Today Show and local DFW news stations.
