Opened in February 2008, CentralTrak is a multipurpose arts building located in the renovated Fair Park Station Post Office in Deep Ellum. CentralTrak contains four live/work office spaces, eight studios for UTD students working on their masters of fine arts degrees, and a gallery. While Dallas’ collection of national and international art grows, CentralTrak provides a place for intellectuals to explain, theorize, or critically analyze art. The gallery showcases the work of the graduate students living there.
