This sprawling theme park of a restaurant is awash with dolphins, dolphins, and more dolphins, courtesy of the artist, Wyland. You are probably familiar with his work without even knowing it—he painted the gorgeous dolphin mural across from the aquarium in downtown Dallas. The artist has partnered with chef Brian Dietz to create Wyland’s Ocean Blue. Part restaurant, part gallery, the 10,000 square-foot spot features fish tanks, two bars, outdoor seating, and plenty of art for sale. Dishes include king crab legs, mussels, halibut, snapper, and more. The crab and shrimp stack, a cylindrical tower of crab, shrimp, avocado, mango, and a pompadour of microgreens, is fresh and broght at the same time that it’s soft and luscious.
