This homegrown chain has four locations—two in Plano, one in Garland, and one in Richardson—and each is about as unassuming as it gets. There’s nothing photogenic about their burgers, either. They arrive smashed, with melted cheese partly fused to the wrapper. Juices pour, and tender green olives tumble out of the bulging sides. The olives cut through grease and cheese with briny salt. It’s a simple but perfect cultural meld made even better with attention to detail: the way the fries are always crispy, and the halal buns are always fresh.
