Army veterans Desiree and Calvin Wineland opened a butcher shop in the Dallas Farmers Market to help support small farm and ranching families. You can get beef, lamb, and pork cut to order, as well as a variety of prepared meats that have been smoked, dried, or cured in-house. They also opened Beyond the Butcher a stall away, so you can pick out your steak and they’ll cook it for you. Now that’s farm to plate.
