Al Baghdady Bakery and Café

Profile

The tiny bakery wedged next to a barber shop, with only two parking spots to its name, holds court with phenomenal Afghani breads. The humble spot makes kefta sandwiches and other savory bites, but their specialty is the pillowy bread fresh from the tandoor oven (shield-sized rounds mean you leave with your arms full) and a brilliant array of pastries that includes baklava and cream-filled, flaky kanafah.
