Dr. Kaye, formerly Dr. Speer, is a Diplomate, Board Certified Periodontist, practicing the full scope of the specialty. She has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Implant Surgery Course in the Department of Restorative Sciences at Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Kaye obtained her Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree graduating Summa cum laude and class Valedictorian. She elected to further specialize, obtaining her Periodontics Certificate and Master of Science Degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Dentistry at Houston, TX. Dr. Kaye takes pleasure in dental research, with her main interests focused on periodontal regenerative procedures, dental implants, and the interrelationship between periodontal disease and systemic diseases. Dr. Kaye has several articles published, including in the prestigious international Journal of Periodontal Research and has lectured nationally and internationally.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), the Dallas County Dental Society (DCDS), and the Southwest Society of Periodontists (SWSP). Dr. Kaye has also served in organized dentistry on several committees.
On a personal note, Dr. Kaye has two sons, Blake and Nathaniel.
