This bar’s mascot is a one-eyed penguin named Oliver Edmundson-Penguin. This should give you an idea of what to expect here: namely, lots of fun and people who don’t take themselves too seriously. The bar, located on the second floor (directly above Dr. Bell’s BBQ), isn’t very big. But there’s enough room for a pool table, a small stage, and a tiny patio. Patrons are casually dressed and laid back – a welcome change from the nightclubs that proliferate downtown Dallas. The bar also offers good happy hour specials and beer pong on Tuesday nights.
