This hole-in-the-wall joint in Uptown is a pleasant surprise. Furnished in dark stained wood, forest green leather, and dim lighting, the small bar, with its American flag and taxidermy bird, feels classic American. And that's the point. It's all inspired by John Kennedy, who, in a photo alongside his wife, looks over the bar, which serves French 75s, martinis, and a strong whiskey sour.
