We were skeptical when we heard about an “eco-friendly” denim store at the Shops at Park Lane, but we were thrilled with what we found during our first visit. The REUSE jean line is called “recycled,” but before you crinkle up your nose, it’s the material that’s recycled. (We’re not talking preowned jeans.) Scraps of discarded denim are cleaned, broken down back into cotton, mixed with fresh cotton and spandex (for a stretchy fit), and reworked into new pairs of on-trend skinny jeans, low-rise flares, mid-rise bell bottoms, and more. The highlights here include the color collections each season, each pair’s comfy fit, and the price tags. (Only $95 for women’s jeans and $125 for men’s.) Head in Thursdays for complimentary champagne from 5 pm to 7 pm.
