We’re usually a little snobby about stores full of under-$50 buys—sorry, we’re not interested in seeing five women at a party in the same darn Forever 21 dress that is falling apart—but this West Village shop is a pleasant surprise. Unlike other inexpensive boutiques, Pitaya’s got the trends covered (and with class). Contemporary looks are made to be wearable and affordable. (Think cutout cocktail dresses, lace midriff tanks, and jersey tanks and tees in all the right colors.) Don’t expect to pull your purchase out next year in the same condition, but for $30, who cares?
