Run by Julie McCoullough Kim, this Bishop Arts “microboutique marketplace” is now also home to Make Shop & Studio, which recently moved in. It’s all local, all the time here, where established, independent Texas designers set up minishops to peddle home furnishings, accessories, and clothing. We like the guitar string bracelets from Eye on the Sparrow, dresses by Madeline Wood, glass bead earrings from Sarah Cate, SuperChica’s ceramic pendants and rings, and Free Lisa’s Harrilu screen-printed t-shirts. Folks also come in daily for a variety of classes on sewing, screen printing, and hand embroidery.
Update: Indiegenius is closing Saturday, July 13.
