The owner, Steve, has been in the Design District for years. He buys what he likes, and that’s a lot of art and art-inspired furniture, such as a 2004 Philippe Starck Lorenzo le Magnifique cameo couch and mixed-media pieces that surprise and entertain. There’s a long waiting list for Griffin’s supply of äóìrobot art clocks,äó but there’s plenty of cool found-object clocks made by the same husband-and-wife assemblage team that are waiting for a home.
