Green Living

Profile

Expect to find what the store’s name implies. Owner Tom Bazzone points out organic, customizable mattresses and pillows, Vetrazzo countertops made from recycled glass (like Skyy vodka and beer bottles), sustainable flooring from Marmoleum, old-school milk paints, and nontoxic Mythic paints (which are carried exclusively at this shop) as the store’s highlights. We love the Tumbleweed Compost Tumbler for $199, locally made Hip & Hippie candles, eco-friendly (and plantable) greeting cards, and gorgeous hand-poured recycled glass dishwater (in salad dishes, dinner plates, glasses, and more) in all kinds of colors. Other kitchen gadgets like a bamboo knife holders, kitschy-shaped cutting boards (hello, housewarming gift), and Full Circle cleaning tools are pretty cool, too. Local jewelry and recycled bags made from Dallas billboards could make fun gifts. Don’t miss the packs of elephant-poop paper. It doesn’t get greener than pretty paper made from poo.

Let this shop know you found them on D Magazine’s Online Directories.
