Profile

The Oklahoma City transplant set up a one-year pop-up within Fort Worth’s WestBend development in June 2019, though they plan to stick around long after. “When we started Commonplace, we always felt like it had the potential to be a network of bookstores that were uniquely contextualized for different communities,” says co-founder Ben Nockels. “[People] don’t just want experiences, they want connection. Books are a unique and powerful medium to connect people with one another.”
