Wildflower Art Studio

When Emile Stewart, a mom of two and former art teacher, began selling DIY calligraphy and art kits a few years ago, she couldn’t have predicted how successful they’d become. Soon the demand grew enough to warrant a brick-and-mortar storefront, and Wildflower Art Studio was born. Denton’s newest creative venture put down its roots in 2018 with a bright, airy studio space whose floor-to-ceiling windows let students draw inspiration from the sunny streets outside.

The Modern

The Modern’s unique programs for children emphasize learning through direct observation of art and thoughtful art activities inspired by the permanent collection and special exhibitions. Drawing from the Collection for Children is a free program for children is led by an artist who takes participants through informal drawing exercises in relation to works in the collection.
