If you keep in mind that The Mexican is a steakhouse, not a Mexican restaurant, and that it exists primarily for customers to see and be seen and for the ownership to bank huge margins on cheap tequila, it is possible to have a decent time here. Order the chicharrón de ribeye, tacos de Culichi (with red snapper), and absolutely nothing involving truffle oil, which seems to be administered by the tablespoon.
