Guadalajara is the source of many of the foods at Maskaras, including tortas drowned in salsa and carne en su jugo (meat in its broth). The birria here has become famous as the best in Dallas, and it’s available in multiple forms, including oh-so-meaty crispy quesabirria tacos. There is also a fine list of tacos, a handful of nice drinks—and an extraordinary collection of lucha libre memorabilia on the walls and countertops.
