Owner Richard Chamberlain offers a fine cut of meat, as well as the sides (such as the stone-ground Parmesan grits) and sauces that make a good restaurant stand out. Service can be hurried, and the wine suggestions can be uninspired, but the colossal shrimp cocktail makes up for much of the aforementioned failings.
