Wesley Prep provides an experiential, interactive, and immersive approach to learning within a joyful environment. Each day, teachers from MDO through sixth grade bring project-based learning to life, inviting students to become engaged learners in every part of their school day.
In elementary, teachers focus on the whole child, from strong academics to strong character. This integrated approach, coupled with hands-on learning experiences, gives students a sense of relevance for what they’re learning. The students design games using simple machines, read A Christmas Carol by candlelight, and are costumed to become the historical figures they research.
In pre-school and MDO, play is the work of the students and allows for the natural process of learning by doing. A day in the life of MDO students is filled with fun and wonderment as children discover and build their social, sensory, and motor skills through hands-on, play-based activities.
Small class sizes allow teachers to go beyond the curriculum and students to participate in a wealth of enrichment classes such as music, art, theatre, Spanish, robotics, and more. The Christian environment teaches students to be kind, responsible citizens who care for others and the world around them. The result is students who are confident, lifelong learners and leaders in their communities.
The teachers and staff invite you to come for a tour and see the Wesley Prep experience first-hand.
