The Goldberg Early Childhood Center (GECC) is focused on building future leaders, lifelong learners, and independent thinkers. Through the amazing indoor and outdoor learning environment, children age 12 months through Pre-K have the opportunity to construct their own knowledge and understanding through learning opportunities carefully designed by an experienced and nurturing teaching faculty that includes Judaic, science, art, movement, swimming, and music specialists.
The GECC collaborates with individual families to ensure the development of the whole child so that students graduating are prepared academically, emotionally, and socially when they transition to public and private schools. With a Jewish values-based, flexible curriculum model that is designed to meet each student at his or her own developmental level, children are able to engage in hands-on, experiential learning that allows them to gain knowledge and develop at their own pace while being continually challenged.
Additional programming is available for infants through the J Baby programs, as well as school-aged children who want to explore dance, gymnastics, art, swimming, and sports enrichment opportunities. The GECC, which has been NAEYC accredited since 1990, is open to all families; everybody is welcome to join the movement and be a part of creating tomorrow’s leaders.
