For more than 50 years, Alcuin School has continued its tradition of nurturing and guiding children from toddler through Upper School according to the methods of Maria Montessori and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme®.
Alcuin School is an independent, nonsectarian, co-educational school serving a diverse community of approximately 560 students. The school sits on a 12-acre campus in North Dallas. A modern gymnasium, state-of-the-art library and classrooms, interactive technology, science and language labs, organic vegetable garden, sports fields, and dynamic performing and visual arts, as well as Alcuin’s Innovation Studio known as The HIVE, inspire students daily.
Alcuin School is one of the largest Montessori Schools in the United States. It is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme® (IBMYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme® (IBDP).
