Strategy-focused and driven, Lee Budner excels in high-stakes and high conflict-situations, while possessing the emotional intelligence necessary to handle the most sensitive matters. Lee focuses his practice on complex divorce matters, high-asset property division, custody disputes, modification suits, and litigation related to the validity of pre-marital agreements, mediated settlement agreements, and divorce decrees.
Prior to joining Calabrese Budner, Lee sharpened his litigation skills as a commercial litigator at a large, national law firm and two elite Dallas litigation boutiques. As a commercial litigator, he represented clients on both sides of the aisle in matters involving hundreds of millions of dollars in controversy. His experience litigating high stakes business disputes enables him to effectively navigate complex matters for his family law clients.
Recognizing the imperative to work with underserved communities, Lee’s family law practice also includes pro bono representation of children and their families in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases. When not in the courtroom or helping his clients, Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, cooking, and playing guitar.
