Lauren Smyth’s practice focuses primarily in the area of commercial real estate, representing buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, borrowers and lenders in the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of commercial properties. Her experience ranges from complex lease negotiations to the creation of large-scale condominium regimes and mixed-use developments.
After graduating magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a double major in French and Political Science, Lauren spent a year working for the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Lauren then attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she graduated with high honors and served as an editor of the SMU International Law Review.
