Britney has been selected as president-elect of the Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA). Britney ran on the platform of finding new and innovative ways to serve the public, creating educational materials for young lawyers, and empowering the young lawyers of Texas to become future leaders. The primary purposes of the TYLA are to facilitate the administration of justice, foster respect for the law, and advance the role of the legal profession in serving the public. She was the 2017 recipient of the Keith L. Krueger Award, and the 2018 recipient of the Presidents’ Award of Merit by TYLA. Britney has been listed as a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters since 2018.

An Austin native, Britney was first in her undergraduate class at the University of North Texas. She received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2010. Britney spent a semester abroad in Lyon, France, and loves traveling and spending time with her family. Of all her achievements, Britney is most proud of obtaining a job out of law school that gave her the income to put her dad through college.
