Young Chefs Academy



At these franchised cooking schools, kids ages 3 and up learn their way around the kitchen by cooking and mastering new presentation techniques (bell peppers as dip bowls—voilà). Students are trained in kitchen safety and healthy eating habits, with educational subjects like math and reading blended in. Fourth graders and older can get patches for passing quizzes and work toward earning a Master Chef jacket. Classes start at $65. Multiple locations.
