How do you teach kids to speak French? Through rhymes, songs, and poupées (puppets), of course. At the French cultural and learning center, native French speakers teach kids ages 4 and up, ensuring not just a proper rendering of “Frère Jacques,” but understanding of the words as well. The center also hosts events throughout the year, such as story times for tots and wine tastings for grown-up Francophiles. Eight-week sessions cost $125 and include 12 hours of instruction.
