Your goals and values are unique to you. Keener Financial Planning believes that financial planning should support you in living the life you envision and be available on your terms.
What are those terms? Jean Keener, CFP®, CRPC founded the firm in 2008 to provide objective, fee-only financial planning and investment advice. Clients get to choose whether benefitting from hourly financial planning on an as-needed basis or full-service wealth management works best for them. This flexibility provides clients control over whether they want to implement their investment recommendations on their own or have the Keener team do it for them. It also gives clients control over their financial advice budget, and there’s a full financial planning fee schedule posted on their website.
Why do people seek out financial advice? The most common reasons clients come to Keener Financial Planning are for retirement planning and investment advice. Retirement planning can include all the years leading up to retirement, or learning how to draw from your portfolio tax-efficiently when you’re in retirement. It also includes making the best decisions on pensions, 401(k) rollovers, and social security. Many clients also seek advice on tax planning, insurance, estate considerations, and making the best decisions on large purchases like homes and cars. The Keener team shares a full list of financial planning services (and a list of services they don’t provide).
Whether you are meeting in-person at one of their Dallas-Fort Worth financial planning offices or online for a virtual financial planning session, Jean and the Keener team will focus on what’s most important to you. With 14 employees, nine of whom hold the Certified Financial Planner™ marks, the Keener team takes your goals and helps you build a financial plan that puts you on track to meet them. They are still accepting new clients and offer a complimentary initial consultation to see if it’s a good fit.
