Our doctor, Victor E. Beshay, MD, received his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in OB/GYN at Parkland Hospital/UT Southwestern in Dallas in 2005. He went on to join the faculty of UT Southwestern after completion of a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His years at UT Southwestern gave him the opportunity to practice his passion of caring for fertility patients as well as train medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Beshay is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and has been practicing medicine for over 10 years. He is also heavily involved in teaching activities. He has served as program chair for the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly (SGA) annual meeting held in Dallas. He has authored numerous research and review articles and book chapters (most notably in Williams Gynecology). He is also involved in the ACOG task force for the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Prolog, 7th, 8th and 9th edition. He has been invited to speak on fertility topics at seminars and grand rounds.
Dr. Beshay has worked with a wide variety of cases including reduced fertility because of age in men and women, diminished ovarian reserve, ovarian failure, testicular failure, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fallopian tube obstruction, history of tubal ligation, and uterine abnormalities. His training and experience cover all potential risk factors and infertility causes that may impact each patient’s ability to conceive.
Away from his medical practice, Dr. Beshay enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. In his free time he enjoys playing racquetball and reading.
