Timothy George, MD is a cardiothoracic surgeon and specializes in minimally invasive procedures. Dr. George received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He then completed his residency in General Surgery at the distinguished Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was awarded the Hugh R. Sharp Cardiac Surgery Research Fellowship. Dr. George stayed on at Johns Hopkins and completed the two-year cardiac research fellowship receiving numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding work. He then went on to the University of Virginia where completed a second fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. George is on the medical staff at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano. He is currently welcoming new patients.
