Dr. Steven (Steve) Lilly joined Cooper Clinic in 2021 as a 24/7 Platinum physician for Cooper Clinic Platinum direct medicine practice as well as a preventive medicine physician. Originally from West Virginia, Dr. Lilly received a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University and a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt Medical School before moving to Dallas in 1998 for his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern (UTSW). In 2001, Lilly joined the faculty at the Dallas VA Medical Center and UTSW, serving as the director of the resident clinic at the VA, a frequent attending physician on the inpatient teaching service and as a long-time chair of the VA ethics committee. Dr. Lilly is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. He is married with two children and enjoys his church, a variety of music, spin cycling, skiing and local sports teams.
