Satin S. Patel, MD, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and sub-specialty board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Patel’s area of expertise includes in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fertility preservation, assisted reproductive technologies including preimplantation genetic diagnoses, and hysteroscopic surgery. He graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Patel completed his fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Patel has published several scientific articles in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, the Biennial Review of Infertility, Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of the Society of Gynecological Investigation, Reproductive Sciences, and Seminars in Human Reproduction. He has also been invited to speak at several international conferences to address the potential treatment avenues for women affected by PCOS-related infertility.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
